IMS Fire Protection Limited are specialists in the many varied forms of passive fire protection including intumescent paints, fire boarding, firestopping and fire curtains/fire barriers.

Since the Company’s formation in 1997 we have successfully completed numerous passive fire protection Contracts on a wide variety of buildings in the following sectors: MoD, Commercial and Industrial, Education, Health, Arts and Leisure.

We are approved applicators of all intumescent paints (and, where appropriate, all specialist coatings) as manufactured and supplied by:   

Nullifire PPG Leigh's Paints International Paints

For firestopping Contracts we would generally recommend and use materials manufactured and supplied by: Firetherm Intumescent & Insulation Supplies Limited.

In addition, we are approved installers of the various fire boarding solutions available from the following manufacturers:

In 2006, the Company achieved FIRAS 3rd Party Accreditation (the scheme as operated by Exova/Warrington Fire) as evidence that we are totally committed to providing fully accountable fire protection solutions.
Furthermore, since 2002 IMS Fire Protection have been assisting their Clients in successfully achieving the required air leakage standards on their Contracts in accordance with Part L2 of the Building Regulations.
